Alumni Association President Joe Irwin and Chair Dean Alford presented checks to the fraternities and sororities that finished atop the rankings in the inaugural Greek Alumni Challenge at halftime of the Georgia Tech-Maryland football game.
The Challenge pits fraternities and sororities against each other in a competition to see which organizations can have the highest rate of giving among their alumni. The winning organizations received funds from the Alumni Association to support their on-campus fraternities and sororities.
The winners honored at the game were:
In the fraternities competition, Omega Psi Phi came in first, Theta Chi was second and Phi Kappa Tau was third.
In the sororities competition, Delta Sigma Theta came in first, Alpha Kappa Alpha was second and Alpha Delta Pi was third.
The second year of the Greek Alumni Challenge has begun. Find more information at the Greek Alumni Challenge website.
