Earlier this year, Hollywood came calling on Tech’s campus—and today we have proof. Well, a bit. Trouble with the Curve was filmed all around the Atlanta area, including some scenes at our own Russ Chandler Stadium, and it’s all on display in the trailer, released today. Clint Eastwood stars in the film as an aging baseball talent scout, and Justin Timberlake, John Goodman and Amy Adams round out the big-name cast.
The movie will be out Sept. 21, but if you can’t wait for Tech to have its big moment on the big screen, skip to 0:44 in the trailer for its little moment on a little screen:
In related news, this month Tech is playing host to another visit from tinseltown: The Internship, a comedy starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, is currently filming on campus. But you might not recognize your alma mater in the final cut—as of last week, Clough Commons was fully made-over to resemble Google’s headquarters. Not a bad way to celebrate a first birthday.
